Update Update Update!!! 
woo~~ been months I last blog! Its 2010!! Flies.. time just flew pass -_-lll
Miguel turns 2 yrs 1 mth yesterday :)
He started his 2hr session preschool on 4 Jan 2010 with Ms Chantel.
Miguel cried and settle down after 1 week. Doing great now..
He will be attending full-day childcare sometime in May.
I am still trying to adjust to the changes, due to the distance / timing / finance..etc
Hope everything turns out well (finger cross).
It's not a easy job being a mum.. You worry about everything and anything!!
Basically, me and Chantel's mummy comb the whole estate of Bedok for a "good" childcare.
Good = Good environment + Good Teacher + Good teaching materials + Good price (affordable)
It is so fuxxing difficult!! We almost gave up at the end of the day and came to the last centre on
our list - @ Tampines :( We went with some last hope.. It was perfect (as at now) ;P
Teacher was experience & friendly, Principal was a nice lady (she have 4 or 5 kids which made our jaws drop), environment was fantastic, can tell the centre invest in quite alot of teaching materials & some are by teachers (great) and the fees are affordable (after some discount by the principal as Miguel & Chantel are enroling together).
Only thing is the distance :( was far.. The kids will have to travel by school bus home..
Let's pray hard!! Pray real real hard!! ;P Kambate!!

My Miguel is swimming at 15 months :) 
Lunch & Shopping!!! (220509) 
I met Nat at Far East Plaza & we had great lunch at this authentic Japanese Yakitori Restaurant - Nanbantei Yakitori.. the food were great & we had great time catching up..
The young chef is cooking our lunch.. It was quite pack during lunch & we were sitted at the bar counter. It wasn't that smoky so everything was still fine. I am definitely going back again :)
Natalie & Me.. Super good mood. Meet for lunch, go shopping till 8 plus, I bought a pair of jeans, 1 sunglass, 1 top, 1 sandals, 1 eyeliner & nothing for Miguel.. Finally shopping for myself.. Best part is hubby pick up Miguel from mum's place & I get to shop till so late. Don have to worry about rushing home.. hehe.. & had nice Ayam Penyet for dinner before heading home. I am so going to do it again :P

Mind-Body-Energy Connection 
Namaste..
I juz went for my 3rd yoga class during lunch - Hatha 1
The purpose of joining yoga was to do some exercise..
Been ages I did a full hr of good sweating..
I realise my sweat glands are still alive when I sweat like mad after 10 min
of warm-up during my 1st Yoga lesson - Yoga Core
Secondly, I need some time for Me, Myself & I.
As the rest of the hours belongs to work & Miguel.
Think the teacher knew I was pretty new in his class..
He went over & ask for my name.
Mistake~~ Tsk Tsk Tsk.. Mistake~~
Whole lesson I can hear him calling my name..
Pat.. go lower.. Pat.. more to ur right.. Pat.. yes.. better now :/
k la.. not juz me, this teacher will try to go to every student to correct their pose.
But as he know I am super new, his eyes are on me..
I consider myself good in flexibility..
I gonna improve & brush up abit on poses..
I dono how long & how far can I go.. As I sign the 1 year plan..
Hope I be able to finish the whole yoga stuff & shed some weight. :)
Ouch~ think my body gonna ache again...

at his own photo & giggle.. It was so so so funny!!
Miguel Mummy is still with tat silly grin.. So proud lah..

Toys! Toys! Toys!!! Was packing Miguel's toys and tot it will be good to keep a record of his toys up todate~~u know.. before they get spoilt and thrown away..
This is the toy Miguel plays at 6-7 mth.. He can aim and put all the hoops into the loop when he was 8 mths plus . :) hehehe.. So proud
Miguel's first toy under Ikea's toys "MULA".. this stacko cups can occupies him for quite awhile :) $2.50 only.. haha

3rd toy under MULA.. Colourful & safe toy from Ikea.. The hammer toy. hmm.. quite safe without the hammer lah..
I am so glad tat Miguel loves reading books.. Cant wait to bring him to the library..

Weaning off Miguel is 14 mths old.
Yes..
I have been breastfeeding him for 14 mths.
That's a record to me.
Thou Miguel is my 1st child, but I always tot I will NEVER struggle thru this breastfeeding process esp after so many hiccups during the first few mths of BF.The engorgement -> expressing of bm every 2-3 hrs (to make sure he gets enuff to drink) -> store bm -> warm bm -> slowly shift to direct feeding (to make things worst Miguel will enlatch if the flow was too fast & the bm will spat everywhere - bm is sweet & will attract ants!!).
I tot direct feeding was good cos no longer need to pump out milk which was very tiring esp if the flow was slow in the early stage.. but when it was time to go back to work after 3 mths of maternity leave. It was nightmare, my breasts works according to Miguel's feeding time~ I will have to express mik at least once in the office -> Store milk in fridge & kind colleagues of mine will always remind me to bring my milk home. -_-lll -> engorge -> rush hm straight after work to empty my breast. It goes on for few mths till I finally kept away the breast pump. I finally got in control of when I wan milk to come and not to gorge unnecessarily!
I am still breastfeeding Miguel. He will cling onto me cos been so many hrs since his last suckle. I will give in. His fav. spot to suckle will be in the car when we are alone. Meaning, if we are driving his cousins hm.. he will not request. But once they are off the car. He will change position automatically! -> lay on my lap -> start pulling my blouse -> Amazing~~
Recently, I was thinking of weaning off. Esp I was quite sick last week and find it unhealthy to bm him at all. During process of googling - "how to wean off breastmilk?" I chance upon this article -
"he is still a tiny little person with lots of growing up to do. It’s a tough world out there, and before you know it he’ll be too big to hold your hand, much less nurse. Why rush him? Ask any mother with older children and she’ll tell you the same thing – babies grow up way too fast, and when you look back on it, the time he spent nursing (even if it was several years) is a very small piece of the pie."
Fine, I give in.
I will let him auto-wean off.

Miguel turns ONE!! My little Miguel has officially turns ONE on 18 Jan!!!!!
Finally the party is over~~ Phew.. its was so tired..
worst dan full month celebration.. maybe this time round was held at my new hm :(
still have to clean up the next day. Sianz~~
Miguel has been training his clapping whenever we sings "Happy Birthday to uuuuu" for
months.. haha.. we are preparing him for his BIG DAY!!
He is sooo happy tat day.. seems like he knows everyone is here to celebrate his birthday. haha..

Last sunday while playing with Miguel.. He actually tried to pronouce "Ma Meeee" so clearly!
He also know the word Ball.. cos at home he have like 6 balls to play with..
He enjoys throwing balls now.. can play throw & catch with him... real fun...
Hmm.. he is also clapping his hands at 9mths plus..
His 7th & 8th teeth at lower gum are showing... oh no.. wat else..
I wanna remember all these before I forget.. cos time really flies..
before I know it... Miguel is 1 year old (tat is like 2 mths later)..
dan Miguel is schooling.. Miguel is going to army.. Miguel got girlfrd liao..
Miguel is getting married..
